Constructed using industrial-strength steel, this warehouse shelving features a design without the use of nuts, bolts, or clips, which makes for easy assembly. There are double-riveted beam and single riveted beam options, and they are adjustable in 1.5 inch increments. Jaken offers two different types of cantilever racks; a heavy duty and medium duty rack. Both size racks are ideal for the storage of tubes, pipes, and other long products or equipment that you may have in your shop. They come either single or double-sided, and you will need two bases/columns, arms, and brace sets to complete your rack. Heavy duty rack parts are sold separately to fit your needs while the medium cantilever comes as a single or double-sided starter unit with add-on options.
First, you will need to choose the arm length. For a heavy duty rack, the arms come in 24″, 36″, or 48″ and can be adjusted every 3″ and for a medium duty 12″, 18″, or 24″ and can be adjusted every 1.5″. Arms come angled, and welded end-stops are also available, to better provide secure/safe storage of your long products.
Next, you will need to select your base and columns. Bases come either single or double-sided and you will need two of them. The column length you need will depend on your arm length, they need to be the same for safe storage.
Last, you will need to select the proper brace set. There is one brace set for the heavy duty option and comes in different widths and heights to suit your needs. For the medium duty option, four brace beams are needed and come in different lengths. Once you have all of your equipment, the total installation of your new unit typically takes only 10 minutes!
